Terms of Use
Effective date: March 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Vector desktop application (“the App”) developed by LoadstarLab (“we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading or using Vector, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing or using Vector, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Vector is a desktop application that assists users with career-related tasks including job discovery, resume tailoring, interview preparation, application tracking, and offer management. Vector uses artificial intelligence to generate suggestions, scores, and content.
3. No Employment Guarantee
Vector does not guarantee employment outcomes. The App provides AI-generated suggestions, match scores, and draft content to assist your job search. These are tools for your consideration, not promises of results. Match scores are directional assessments, not definitive evaluations of your candidacy.
4. AI-Generated Content
Content generated by Vector — including resume text, interview prep, response drafts, leverage scripts, and match scores — is produced by third-party AI providers based on the context you provide. You are responsible for reviewing all generated content before use. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of AI-generated content.
5. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information about your qualifications and experience
- Review all AI-generated content before submitting it to employers or recruiters
- Comply with the terms of service of third-party platforms you interact with through the App (LinkedIn, Gmail, Google Calendar, AI providers)
- Not use the App for fraudulent, deceptive, or unlawful purposes
- Not misrepresent your qualifications using AI-generated content
6. Third-Party Integrations
Vector integrates with third-party services including LinkedIn, Gmail, Google Calendar, and AI providers. These integrations are subject to the respective third party’s terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.
Integration risks.Third-party platforms may change their APIs, terms, or behavior without notice, which may affect Vector’s functionality. LinkedIn may restrict automated interactions. Email providers may revoke OAuth access. AI providers may change their models or pricing.
7. Intellectual Property
The Vector application, its code, design, and documentation are the intellectual property of LoadstarLab. Content you create using Vector — your resumes, debriefs, preferences, and application data — belongs to you.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LoadstarLab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of employment opportunities, arising from your use of the App.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable for any particular purpose.
10. Termination
You may stop using Vector at any time by uninstalling the App. We may terminate or suspend access to the App at any time without notice for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or third parties.
11. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated through the App’s release notes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
